homework #4 regulation

the lego movie: regulation                         16.11.20     Regulators are usually industry bodies that do one of two things: 1.Classify products (normally by age rating) 2.Ensures content of products meets acceptable standards                          Why did the BBFC give The Lego Movie a U rating? What does this mean in terms of the audience the film can reach?  because it has very mild bad language (like darn and heck) and the violence is very minor and obvious it isn't real as it is in lego, not showing any human harm and we do not see things like blood or serious physical injury that may cause distress to younger audiences. this means it can reach any and all audiences as it is not necessary for a parent or guardian to be present while the film is played and it doesn't have an age restriction, an example of the places and audiences it can reach is school. it can be played to school children without supervision.  Why did the VSC

There are THREE sections of the FAMILY TARGET AUDIENCE:   kids who like Lego; parents of kids who used to play with Lego themselves; young cinema goers. Explain how The Lego Movie appeals to each of them using the following areas: Characters Narrative Settings Themes the lego movie appeals to kids because of the catchy music (everything is awesome) and cool characters that they may recognise from their favourite other films, such as: superman and wonder woman. the settings also contribute to the appeal because of the wide range and bright colours that it offers, this is eye-catching and interesting to children. the film appeals to kids who play/played with lego as there are many places that they may have themselves, in lego form, such as the construction site Emmet works at.  the film appeals to parents of kids that played with lego themselves. this is because some of the older 80s sets and characters are actually included in the film, like Benny and his spaceship. This gives a hit o

Maria falls in love with the captain and leaves back to the monastery, but the rev. mother convinces her to
