why might a director use these settings in their films?
why would the director choose these different colours in their films?

1. where does the action take place? ancient greece in trouble
2. why do you think it takes place there? because the place needed a hero and the film is about the best hero in ancient greece.

6. could the story be set in a different place? why? it depends, if you wanted it to be the same film just in a different place it wouldnt quite work because the whole story and characters are from that place. but if you wanted to do a modern version based on the film but not the same, then you could set it in a different place.

11. how important are the colours in the film? pretty important because you wouldn't be able to identify people as easily
12. how would the film be different if it were in black and white? i'm not sure because you wouldn't be able to see difference between good and bad but you would still be able to understand the theme of the film.

red - danger, blood or love
pink- love
brown - adventure, jungle
grey - old, silver
white- pure, sci-fi

sci-fi:the sacked scientist's old lab room (sacked for testing virus vaccine on innocent people).
lab with blood tests everywhere. needle and syringe holding neon green substance. walls covered with pictures of test subjects, two dead one covered with blood, the other as white as a sheet.
HELP ME written in blood on the walls. worksheets with dried blood smears on them. coffee cup half empty a pair of tongs left in it. a rusting cage is in the corner of the room, human sized. there are rats dead in the sink and they hear screaming. an old tape recorder is found on the table in a pool of scrunched up paper and dirty syringes.
