types of stop animation

1. claymation 

3D figures made out of clay or Plasticine, filmed against a 3D background or set. one main character is all you need.

2.found objects 

characters can be created from random household objects.

3.cut out 

2D characters and worlds are made by cutting out things from papers, pictures etc.

4.people-mation 

people's bodies moved one frame at a time.
